Keyboard Shortcuts
Shortcuts are managed by a unified ShortcutManager that routes key presses
based on the current UI context (Global, Playback, Mask editor, Debug UI,
Calibration, Idle).
Shortcuts are part of the broader Action System,
which ensures keyboard input, UI clicks, and network commands all trigger
identical behavior through a single dispatch pipeline.
| Shortcut | Action |
|---|
| F1 / F9 / F12 | Toggle debug panel |
| Ctrl+Q | Quit player (Maintenance mode only; opens leave prompt) |
| Esc | Open Leave DearScenario Player prompt |
On macOS, Cmd+Shift+D toggles the debug panel instead of F1/F9/F12,
because function keys are often intercepted by the system.
These shortcuts are available only while the Debug UI is open and media is
loaded. They are local engineering conveniences, not part of the Normal-mode
playback control surface. Exhibition control should use HTTP/OSC or the Web
Console.
